Lamington Viaduct
A Monday morning Glasgow Central - Birmingham New Street Virgin Voyager crawls south over Lamington Viaduct on 22 February 2016. The viaduct had reopened that morning after being closed for more than 7 weeks following damage caused by storm Frank on New Years Eve. Severe speed restrictions are in place with close monitoring being undertaken by Network Rail engineers, one of whom is standing on the temporary access bridge holding a measurement device of some kind.
