Kincardine
The new user worked level crossing at Station Road, Kincardine, following testing on 27 March 2008. The crossing had been installed in advance of reopening of the line east from Alloa for use by the heavy coal trains then running between Hunterston Import Terminal and Longannet Power Station via the Forth Bridge. The first of the rerouted trains, travelling via Stirling and Alloa, passed through here 9 days later.
