Manors North
This is all that is left of the North Tyneside Loop platforms at the one-time junction station of Manors, seen from a LNER service passing the remaining and downgraded main line platforms, on 11th March 2019. Heavy trains to the North Tyneside Loop finished in 1978 with the remainder of the loop being given over to the Tyne & Wear Metro which tunnels underground before joining the loop just north of Jesmond.
