Croston
On Sunday there are no trains on the Preston to Ormskirk line and the Orange Army often take advantage of this and carry out track maintenance. In this case some rails were being recovered from the Preston side of Croston and moved to the station to be craned onto a lorry. The view of the latter operation was taken from the road bridge looking south over the station on 21 August 2022.
