Thornielee
A wet and misty morning in the Tweed Valley, some 5 miles west of Galashiels, in October 2005. View is south towards the river from alongside the A72, looking over the former Thornielee station. Opened in 1866, this wayside stop on the Peebles Loop saw little traffic and was closed in 1950. The station building survives as a private residence.
