Crooklands Wharf

The Crooklands Aqueduct (Bridge 165) takes the Peasey Beck underneath the Lancaster Canal. The beck is a tributary of the River Bela, which in turn flows into the River Kent. It carries the canal water supply down from Killington Lake reservoir but, just to the north of this aqueduct, a weir diverts some of the flow into a canal feeder channel.
