Craigendoran
A 1965 photograph of a Clyde Hover Ferries SRN6 hovercraft arriving at Craigendoran, probably with a service from Greenock. Some railway features (signal, the electrification masts and so on) around the upper and lower platforms of Craigendoran station can be seen in the background. Disembarking from a paddle steamer at Craigendoran pier and strolling through to the station must have been rather more agreeable than traipsing over the beach to get to a platform.
