Killywhan
The hamlet of Killywhan lies approximately 7 miles south west of Dumfries on the old Port Road to Stranraer. Since closure in 1959 the site has been redeveloped as private accommodation, although part of the original platform is still visible. The photograph was taken on a frosty November morning in 2005 looking south west from the old level crossing in the general direction of Dalbeattie.
