Whalley's Basin [LLC]
Just below Lock 81 of the Wigan Flight was the entrance to the short Ince Hall branch of the canal and also Whalley's Basin, serving nearby industry. The basin is partly filled in now and there is very little trace of the Ince Hall branch, other than the canal bridge by Ince station 82921.
