These two structures marked either side of the Glen Yard's slipway. The slip was rebuilt by Scott-Lithgow and equipped with the famous Arrol built Goliath crane as part of the plan for developing a Very Large Crude Carrier super yard. The crane was rail mounted and was able to run out on these structure to reach the seaward end of the slip. Most of the slip site is now built over with retail units and car parks. The crane was brought down in 1997.
