Dalegarth

Scottish Grand Tour No 10, on 9th May 1970, was to the Cumbrian Coast and included the option of a trip on the narrow gauge Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway. Here is 'River Esk' being turned at the eastern terminus in order to return us to Ravenglass. There we re-joined the train headed by D353, which then hauled us to Carnforth where there was a historic occurrence. See image 36161.
