Haymarket MPD
Clayton Type 1 and English Electric Type 4 diesel locomotives at the west end of the depot at Haymarket, viewed from a train on the Wester Dalry Branch. The photograph was taken on 29th February 1964, the final day on which the Branch was used by passenger traffic. The east to south curve of the Haymarket triangle can be seen in the foreground, with Murrayfield Rugby Stadium (as it was in the good old high-capacity days!) in the background.
