Shadwell
DLR unit no. 137, from Bank to Woolwich Arsenal, arriving at Shadwell, alongside the C2C line out of Fenchurch Street, on 3rd December 2022. The C2C does not have a station here but Shadwell DLR is more or less on the site of the old Shadwell & St. George's East station, that closed as a World War II economy in 1941 and never reopened after 1945. There are substantial remains of that station at street level (see my photo, image no. 73355).
