Castlefield Junction
331009 passes under the steel Castlefield Viaduct, now accommodating the National Trust 'sky garden park' and crosses the brick viaduct below with a Manchester Airport to Blackpool North service on 28th October 2022. To the right of the lower bridge are some Roman ruins, together with a reconstruction of a roman wall.
