Sandy Holme Aqueduct [LLC]
Sandy Holme Aqueduct carries the Leeds and Liverpool Canal over the River Brun in Burnley. Additionally, the mineral line from Burnley Bank Top (later Central) passed under the canal at this point to reach Bank Hall Colliery immediately beyond, although the rails must have been at a lower level than the current footpath. This view looks upstream, towards the site of the colliery, in December 2022.
