Canal Junction [Elderslie]
There is still some light available as Class 47 No D1849 approaches Elderslie with the 10.30 pm sleeper from Glasgow Central to London Euston on 15 June 1967. This train usually travelled via Barrhead and Kilmarnock, but at this time in the 1960s it also made a call at Paisley Gilmour Street and ran via Dalry instead.
