Pomona [Tram]
For over twenty years this view at Pomona tram stop, built on a viaduct, was of the line to Eccles disappearing sharp right and a short section of empty concrete dead ahead and then a sheer drop. Built as an intended interchange it was for many years the least used stop on the Metrolink network but that changed with the building of the long planned line to the Trafford Centre, which opened in 2020. This view from a tram heading for the new line (when the points change) on 11th January 2023.
