Hagside Level Crossing
Since my last visit to Hagside, near Radcliffe, the old control centre/signalbox has been demolished. The public road itself has been downgraded to a footpath and access track, and with that the barriers have been removed although trams pass the location at reduced speed. Metrolink 3085 passes the scene in January 2023 heading towards Manchester. See image 38231 for the same location in 2012.
