Two rail cranes, accompanied by a Caley 0-6-0, installing a replacement bridge over the old course of the A84 at Balquhidder. Health and safety standards for the workforce look a little different from the present day. One has to hope they at least closed the road. The site of the original station was immediately to the right here, with the newer junction station further away, and the railway cottages seen beyond the bridge still stand.
