Bradley Fold
Fifty years earlier this view towards Bolton at Bradley Fold would have been from the tracks between the platforms with a level crossing in the foreground, controlled by a signal box. Bolton to Castleton near Rochdale closed in 1970 but to the east of Bury is now part of the East Lancashire Railway. The western half has been less fortunate but large sections form part of a public greenway.
