Withins Lane
Metrolink 3113 runs alongside a section of the old Manchester, Bury and Bolton Canal, heading for Piccadilly from Bury, on 4th January 2023. This photo was taken from Bridge 18, which carries Withins Lane over the canal. An adjacent bridge carries the lane over the railway at the site of a short-lived station, only open from 1847 to 1851, and of which no trace remains.
