Carlisle
A BRCW Type 2 (later Class 26) at Carlisle with a train for Edinburgh via the Waverley Route. The date was 4th January 1969, the final Saturday before closure of the route. A Class 50 can be seen below the station roof at the head of a northbound West Coast express.
