Glammis [1st]

These were the goods banks at the former Glamis station, possibly on the site of the original Glammis station. In this 1996 view, the remains of the later station are on the right and the signal box can be seen. The terminus at Glammis was probably obliterated when the Scottish Midland Junction Railway upgraded the older line to modern standards to form part of the main line from Perth to Forfar. The view looks west. The goods sidings were once connected by turnplates.
