View north at Nethermill Junction in 1996. The newer alignments are on the left. The line to Ardler Junction was on top of the wall at the far left and, beside it, was that to the Alyth Junction 'flyover'. This was roughly the site of Nethermill Junction where the Newtyle and Coupar Angus curved off to the left (on a slightly different alignment to the new Ardler line) and the Newtyle and Glammiss curved off to the right (some of the overgrown alignment on an embankment can still be found in Nethermill Wood).
