Not much remains of Newtyle's second station, the site now being a house, except a short portion of the northbound platform and its bay. This photograph is taken standing on the platform with the bay to the left and platform to the right. The southbound platform was off to the right but, being staggered, would have been behind the camera. It hasn't survived. There was a refuge siding on the right, making a trailing connection to the southbound line. This was the division point between the Coupar Angus and Alyth Junction lines before Newtyle Junction was rebuilt.
