Brierfield Mills
The hugely impressive Brierfield Mill, a listed building alongside the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, finally closed in 2010 and has been purchased by Pendle Council. It has been refurbished and will accommodate businesses and residential apartments. This view looks towards Burnley in March 2023. Brierfield station and the line to Colne is on the other side of the mill, running roughly parallel to the line of the canal at this point.
