New Hall Bridge Halt

New Hall Street Bridge (132) on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal gave its name to the adjacent railmotor halt, served by push-pull trains shuttling between Burnley and Colne from 1906 to 1948. This March 2023 view looks towards Brierfield. The tower structure in the trees is part of a concrete plant that was constructed on the site of Reedley Colliery.
