Woodacre Crossing
45699 'Galatea' set out from Carnforth with 45690 to double-head the Great Britain XV Tour from Blackpool to York but was unfortunately declared a failure at Preston while still with the empty stock working. A short notice path was found to get the Jubilee back to Carnforth at 30mph and it is seen passing Woodacre, tender first E + C, at lunchtime on 21st April 2023.
