Shoreham by Sea
Shoreham-by-Sea, on the West Coastway Line, seen from 377125 with a Southern service from Brighton to Southampton Central, on 15th April 2023. This was the western terminus of the line from Brighton when it opened on 12th May 1840 but the original station was demolished and replaced with the present when the line was extended west to Worthing by the Brighton & Chichester Railway on 24th November 1865. This was once the junction for the Steyning line to Christs Hospital, which closed with the withdrawal of the Brighton to Horsham service on 7th March 1966.
