This was the Strathmore main line. This part of the line and short lived Leason Hill station here were originally built by the Newtyle and Glammiss Railway. When the line was rebuilt by the Scottish Midland Junction Railway the station did not re-open. The view looks east to Eassie. The route of the main line was to the right of the fence seen here. It crossed over the road in the foreground by a long removed bridge and the embankment has been cleared and returned to farmland both in this view and behind the camera.
