Neidpath Tunnel
Shortly after leaving Peebles Caledonian station westbound, trains on the SB&B entered Neidpath Tunnel. The approach to the eastern portal of the 674 yard tunnel, which now forms part of a popular walking route, is seen here in the summer of 2008. On leaving the west end of the tunnel the line emerged onto Neidpath Viaduct - see image 6456.
