397010 passes Carstairs South Junction with the 10.48 from Glasgow Central to Manchester Airport, terminated at Carlisle for staffing reasons, on 9 May 2023. Two days later it was a announced that, following long running complaints about cancellations, the franchise will return to public ownership at the end of May.
