Sheriffhall City Bypass Overbridge
Preparations for the Borders Railway underway in the area between Kings Gate and the Edinburgh City Bypass looking north in November 2014. The concrete box through which the new double track route to Newcraighall will pass is almost complete, with road traffic using the temporary diversion beyond. Nearer the camera work is taking place on the culvert carrying the Dead Burn, which passes below the railway here on its way to join the North Esk.
