Weaste
It is clearly sometime since the Weaste goods branch saw traffic. As far as I can ascertain the trains to the cement depot ceased around 2016 (happy to be corrected) when replaced by a ship bringing cement from Ireland via the Manchester Ship Canal. There was some talk of a revival in 2021 but it doesn't seem to have materialised. This is the view from the A57 overbridge, towards the depot, on 11th June 2023.
