Hillside [NB]
A Montrose to Inverurie service approaches the site of Hillside station in a view looking east. From bottom centre to top left was the course of the Strathmore main line which met the North British line at Kinnaber Junction (top left), where the West Coast and East Coast main lines met. Also visible in the top left are the Glenesk Maltings silo, the maltings themselves and the North Water Bridge and parallel viaduct on the Inverbervie line.
