Wennington
30 April 1983 and ex S&D 2-8-0 No 13809 is completing its run past at Wennington, whilst hauling the Cumbrian Mountain Pullman between Carnforth and Hellifield. Its sedate running was in sharp contrast to that of 34092 'City of Wells', which treated us to a volcanic performance on the Long Drag after taking over at Hellifield.
