Science Museum

Grand Junction Railway 2-2-2 'Columbine', on display in the Science Museum, on 6th May 2019. Designed by Robert Stephenson and Joseph Locke and built at the then new Crewe works for the Grand Junction in 1845. When in service, it towed a tender carrying its coal and water supplies but that is not displayed here due to lack of space.
