Wilpshire
The mill chimneys of Blackburn have been replaced by other things, such as communications masts. It is high summer with the Rosebay Willow Herb in full flower but the damp conditions allow some exhaust from 45231 'The Sherwood Forester' as it climbs towards Wilpshire summit with Steam Dreams 1Z84 06:00 Colchester - Settle - Carlisle Railtour. The assembled gallery were lucky here to get some sun on a day of heavy, blustery and thundery showers. A very severe crop from the original file.
