Elliot Metal Box Factory
Took the bus (X7) from Stonehaven to Arbroath yesterday and went to the Westway Retail Park. Decided to get the X7 home at Elliot Bridge and had a bit of time to kill so took a walk up this access road between the Elliot Caravan Park and what was the Metal Box company. A bit of research when I got home revealed that the Metal Box factory was rail served off the Carmyllie Railway. Behind the pile of rubble, which has been there for many years, is ASDA and the Retail Park. I remember when the rails did run across the A92.
