Doublebois
1068 'Western Reliance' heads past the site of Doublebois station with the 2B10 0842 Plymouth to Penzance service. Note the weld patch on the front of the loco. 1068 carried this for some time and was thus easy to identify from this end. There was once an engineers' yard here for the pre-assembly of Track Panels. The station closed in October 1964 and the PW yard by January 1968. A Class 03 shunter stabled here to shunt the yard when open.
