Tryfan Junction, on the Welsh Highland Railway, seen from a charter from Blaenau Ffestiniog on the Ffestiniog Railway through to Caernarfon on 6th April 2019. In the days of the North Wales Narrow Gauge Railway, this station was the junction for a branch to Bryngwyn that is now a nature trail. Though Tryfan Junction is literally in the middle of nowhere, it was rebuilt for the new WHR as a request stop for walkers wishing to explore the old Bryngwyn line on foot. It has no other purpose since it is remote from roads and communities.
