Charlestown Buffer
Having indicated a year earlier that repairs were unlikely I was proved entirely wrong and temporary repairs have been effected to the buffer presumably by the local community group which also maintains the path alongside the now totally overgrown track along towards Braeside Junction and Crombie Depot. This is more TLC than these buffers have ever received since their installation in February 1964 when the branch was cut back to here.
