Kandersteg
A northbound express has not long emerged from Switzerland's Loetschberg tunnel and is entering Kandersteg station behind BLS electric, number 271. Three of these very powerful Kraftpaket (Power Package) double locomotives were built in 1959 for use on heavy international freights traversing the steeply graded Loetschberg route. But they were also used on passenger traffic from time to time.
