Fleetwood [Esplanade]
A fifteen inch gauge miniature railway operated in this park on Fleetwood Esplanade from 1975 onwards. It was not particularly well patronised and it also suffered from vandalism resulting in its closure in 1982. This substantial bridge is a lasting reminder of the time when the line operated. The line was in fact the second on this site as there had been a ten and a quarter inch gauge line here in the 1950s.
