Scorton [Lancashire] [2nd]
The daily Shap to Tuebrook stone train, and the corresponding northbound empties, are the only regular Class 60 workings on the northern WCML. The trains usually run at night but for some reason a path was found to run the loaded service in daylight on 4th September 2023 and 60095 is seen passing Scorton at 1015hrs. The long rake of wagons will be split at Tuebrook to be tripped to Haydock in two loads (See image 84471).
