Derby MPD
Following recent delivery from the Falcon Works at Loughborough new Brush built Type 4 D1732 is seen stabled on Derby shed in April 1964 prior to entering service working from Cardiff Canton shed. It became 47140 under TOPS, and after a serious collision in 1988 with sister 47106, which caused both to be withdrawn, was scrapped at Vic Berry in Leicester in 1989.
