Glenbeigh
Just west of Glenbeigh, a view westwards towards Mountain Stage on the section of trackbed currently under conversion to the South Kerry Greenway. This Greenway will run as far as Cahirciveen utilising as much of the trackbed as possible. Although it would have been better had the line, which closed in Feb 1960, remained open its conversion to a cycleway will ensure that much of the most scenic section of the route is protected.
