Eastriggs
Wide view showing the works site at Eastriggs in July 2008, during redoubling of the line between Annan and Gretna Green. The site includes the junction for the MoD secure sidings off to the left, once part of the sprawling wartime munitions complex euphemistically referred to as 'HM Factory Gretna'. Approaching the junction on what was still a single line section at that time, is the 1107 ex Carlisle, ultimate destination Glasgow Central.
