Great Harwood
Until 1964 this would have been a view from the Blackburn bound platform at Great Harwood. The station had closed in 1957 but handled summer excursions and goods traffic for a further seven years. A trackbed greenway now runs from here to the outskirts of Great Harwood but behind the camera all is built over. The houses opposite are at the junction of Station Road and Hameldon View (formerly 'Railway View') and used to look onto the station forecourt.
