156409 is moments into its journey from Colne to Preston, on a misty 9th October 2023, as it approaches Wackersall Bridge. Sixty years earlier its steam or Cravens DMU predecessors would have been passing the large Carriage Depot, with covered and open sidings but which closed in 1967. Empty for many years its site is now covered with housing.
